Well, it is almost the end of this year and I have yet to update this web page of mine.  LOL.  I've been so busy.  Well, Christmas was a Christmas.  It definately did not feel like Christmas, especially after the drama with my cousin.    I hate to say it, but I feel like she ruined everyone's Christmas.  Any ways, I got some nice gifts a lot it I was not expecting.

But any ways,  Gary and I are about to celebrate our first year of being together!   By far the longest relationship I've ever been in!   Can you believe it?!  We're both happy together.  Now only if we could get rid of some of the friend drama in his life.  ::cough cough::  You people know who you are!

Any ways, next on the subject, I discovered from my advisor I have about a year left of college left before I can graduate with a BA with a concentration in Graphic Design.  I'm only going for the BA right now.  I may try to make it in the business world and if I can't go back to school and go for my BFA.  But time will tell.  I definately want to at least try and get out there as best I can on a good foot.  I hate working retail at CVS and running the photo lab.  I tell you when you work there, they pretty much run your life into the ground - that's why after I quit there I won't be going back.  Plus it explains why 2 girls just quit out of randomness.  I've been wanting to quit, but I'm trying to pull through.  They pay me alright for retail and I don't think I will get better any where else.  But it's all gravy.  I just having to think of the $$ .

Next is New Years!  I have no idea what I am doing.  I have to work New Years Eve 8am to 4pm.  So at least I will have my evening free.  And I've already decided I am going to take New Years Day off.  Because I deserve a VERY much needed break from work and school.  And I'm definately not going to get that being slaved at CVS.

Well, I guess that concludes this entry.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!

Ok... yet another late night up studying... I've been so stressed out lately.

This past weekend, I worked at my normal job, CVS, on Saturday.  I worked a double shift on Sunday, one with promotions and another with CVS.  Thank goodness I had Monday and Tuesday off for fall break.  I think I would have gone insane.  But I can't say I'm in the clear yet!

This week I have to work promotions today (Wednesday), Friday, work a double (promo and CVS) on Saturday, and then last day of promotions on Sunday.  Oh yeah and did I mention I have a history test on Thursday?  Plus Monday, have to finish a project for Graphic Design and present on Tuesday.  So I'll be able to actually get some REAL sleep when all that is over.

Then the following weekend I'm going down to Clemson for a football game!  Finally my weekend of freedom and what better way than to spend it with my best friend!  So I'm looking forward to the next few days flying by.  AND hoping to pass my history test, which I'm studying for now.

But I've given up for the night.  It's just one of those things... "either I know it or I don't know it".  And hopefully it is I KNOW IT.   Wish me luck!

GOOD NIGHT!

Thought of the day:

Yesterday my professor made a comment, "People think that public space is free space, public space is not free space."

I think this thought is very contridictory, but it makes sense.  If one is not allowed to graffiti a supposed public wall, and it soon later gets covered or erased because our supposed law enforcement or city doesn't approve of it.

But why call it public space if it isn't public space?  And erasing someone's graffiti from a public space - isn't that considered freedom of speech?  I guess erasing it could be considered freedom of speech too.  But why not let other people have their freedom of speech?  And who died and made the law enforcers and city God?  I mean I thought the point of freedom of speech is that you can express yourself.  How are people in the city - especially graffiti artists - supposed to express their freedom of speech if they're constantly made to either clean it off or erase it?

Does America truely understand the Freedom of Speech?

Ok, well classes are going a lot better.  My Graphic Design professor seems to really like me.  I guess it was just having to get used to his teaching technique.  He is quite cool and laid back.  And I'm doing pretty well.

I had a good 22nd birthday.  Gary took me out to Nakatos for my birthday.  It was yummy.

Well, I guess that is all I have to say for now.  I really need to update more often.  Anyways, I'll write again soon.
